Role - SAP CDS Analytics Consultant
 
Job Summary
We are seeking a technically proficient SAP CDS (Core Data Services) Analytics Consultant to join our analytics and technology team. This role involves designing, developing, and optimizing CDS views and analytics models within SAP environments, specifically tailored for enterprise-level data management and reporting solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with SAP HANA, SAP BW/4HANA, and S/4HANA, and will be responsible for delivering high-performance data models and analytics solutions
 
SAP Skills
Proficiency in developing CDS views with deep knowledge of SQL scripting and SAP HANA modeling.
Experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW/4HANA, SAP Fiori, and OData services.
Strong understanding of SAP HANA architecture, performance tuning, and data management techniques.
Familiarity with ABAP programming and SAP HANA SQL Script
 
Responsibilities
CDS View Development:
Design and develop complex CDS views for advanced data modeling and analytics within the SAP ecosystem.
Implement data models that meet business requirements, ensuring high performance and scalability in large-scale enterprise environments.
Utilize annotations and associations to enhance CDS views, enabling efficient querying and reporting.
SAP Analytics Integration:
Integrate CDS views with SAP BW/4HANA, SAP S/4HANA, and other SAP modules, ensuring seamless data flow and consistency across the enterprise.
Develop and optimize OData services for consumption by SAP Fiori applications and other reporting tools.
Work closely with SAP functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions using SAP CDS.
Performance Tuning and Optimization:
Conduct performance analysis and optimization of CDS views to minimize data retrieval times and enhance user experience.
Implement best practices in SQL scripting, indexing, and data partitioning to improve the efficiency of SAP HANA-based models.
Monitor and troubleshoot performance issues in CDS views and associated analytics applications.
Data Management and Governance:
Ensure data integrity and quality by implementing robust data validation, cleansing, and transformation processes within CDS views.
Develop and enforce data governance policies, ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
Collaborate with data architects and governance teams to maintain accurate data lineage and metadata.
Technical Leadership and Collaboration:
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers, guiding them in the development of CDS views and SAP analytics solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including SAP BASIS, functional consultants, and business analysts to ensure alignment on project goals and deliverables.
Stay current with SAP advancements, continuously improving the technical capabilities of the team by integrating new features and best practices.
Documentation and Best Practices:
Develop comprehensive documentation for CDS views, including data models, dependencies, and performance tuning techniques.
Establish and maintain coding standards, ensuring that all developments are aligned with SAP best practices and organizational guidelines.
Conduct code reviews and provide feedback to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Qualification/Education Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree IT or equivalent 3-6 years of experience in one or more SAP modules.
SAP Certified Application Associate - SAP BW/4HANA & SAP HANA is preferred.
Exposure to other SAP modules and integration points.
Knowledge of data visualization tools and techniques.
Ready to work in rotational shifts timings.

Experience with Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio (optional).
